A word from our CEO
I have spent 21 years watching companies buy strategy and then discover that nothing moves, because the data never left the system it was born in. That is the problem we solve. It is not glamorous work and it does not fit on a poster, but when a payment settles on time or a container clears customs without a phone call, someone on our team built the thing that made it happen. I want Satisco to stay the firm that is honest about which of those things it can do, and excellent at the ones it claims.
How we got here
From a middleware specialist to a data partner
Satisco started in 2005 as an integration specialist, at a time when connecting two systems meant an ESB, a lot of XML and a very patient project manager. We got good at it. Banks in Belgium and Luxembourg, asset managers, shipping lines and public institutions handed us the flows they could not afford to break.
Then the questions changed. Clients stopped asking only whether the message arrived and started asking whether they could trust it, prove it, and feed it to something that makes decisions. That is why our portfolio now covers three pillars instead of one: moving data, making it reliable, and putting it to work. The engineering underneath is the same engineering. The conversation is wider.
What has not changed is the kind of work we take on. If it involves a critical flow, a protocol with a specification, a deadline set by a regulator, or a migration that cannot lose a record, it is ours.

Following what changes in the platforms and protocols we live in is a delivery axis, not a hobby somebody does at the weekend.
French inside, English out
We work in French internally and in English with international clients, across 3 countries and several regulators. Every specification, test dossier and audit report gets written in the language the reader actually works in.
The honest version
Things we argue about over lunch
- Whether ISO 20022 solved anything or just moved the problem into an XML schema.
- The correct number of retries before you wake a human being up.
- Whether a nightly batch is ever still the right answer in 2026. Sometimes it is, and we will say so.
- EDIFACT segment terminators. Yes, still.
- Whether "the mapping is documented" and "the documentation is current" mean the same thing. They do not.
- Who broke the test environment, and whether that person is in this room.

What we do not claim
A credible portfolio has edges. We do not position ourselves as a data science or predictive modelling practice, we do not publish a proprietary analytics platform, and we do not give legal advice on regulatory compliance. We build the data foundation those things depend on, and we work alongside the specialists who own them. Saying so up front has never once cost us a project we would have enjoyed.
